Soldfy

Soldfy is a Sweden-based IT and electronic seller that offers a wide range of telephones, consumer electronics, computers, and games to B2B and B2C customers. Customers can order their products online and have them shipped to the address of their choice.

  • The client had an HTML website and wanted to harness the benefits of e-commerce by launching online stores under the domain names, Soldfy and Restore IT.
  • They wanted eight online stores under two domain names, Soldfy and Restore IT.
  • The client needed 5 B2C and 3 B2B stores, each in a different language, currency, and payment system.
  • The client wanted the Buy Now Pay Later feature on their sites to boost sales.

Navabrind had several interactions with the client and analyzed their needs. We recommended React PWA to improve the website speed and user experience. The e-commerce stores were to be built on Magento.

 

  • Two stores of Soldfy.com (B2C) and Restore.IT (B2B) were developed with a single backend.
  • The stores were multi-language and multi-currency and provided an option for auto-switching currencies depending on the customer’s Geo IP Address.
  • The B2B stores were integrated with AI and ChatGPT.
  • The B2C e-commerce stores were built with the relevant currency system and payment options.
  • Navabrind also implemented Prerender to boost the site’s SEO performance.
  • The client wanted to implement the Buy Now Pay Later feature on their sites to launch festival and occasion-specific campaigns and boost customer presence and engagement online.
  • The e-commerce stores included dynamic calculations of taxes.
  • The sites were integrated with Trustpilot, a review site so that customer testimonials are dynamically pulled and posted on the website for other customers to read.
  • The Coupon Code feature enabled the client to easily launch promotional offers and programs. Using coupon codes, customers can enjoy discounts, and earn rewards through the companies’ reward programs. This was a crucial marketing strategy.
  • The project with Soldfy is ongoing, and Navabrind provides production support on upgrades and changes required by the Soldfy team.
  • Navabrind customized and implemented Payment Gateways for all the e-commerce sites in progressive web apps (PWA).
    WebP image dynamic conversion was implemented so that images are automatically converted to WebP format and get published to the front end for faster page loading.
  • The Lazy Loading feature on the Product Details Page (PDP) enabled customers to browse through till the end of the page as it loaded gradually. This lets customers stay on the page longer.
  • Notifications were implemented to inform customers when a product they had searched for previously and was not available was back on the shelf. Notifications served as a reminder for customers to return to the site and place their order.
  • Algolia Search enabled relevant products to appear along with the ones searched. The list of products showcased variety and offered customers choices.
  • The Campaign feature was a key requirement for the customer to launch occasion-based offers, discounts, and campaigns to attract more customers.
  • HelloRetail AI provided relevant search results based on the user data, customer’s order history, and browsing patterns.
  • ChatGPT was implemented to dynamically fetch Product Meta Titles, Meta Short Descriptions, and Long Descriptions. The SEO enhancement elevated the overall page ranking.
  • Prerender.io boosted the performance of the site, attracted more visitors through good search engine results, maximized visibility, and loaded the site faster.
