Our client is a prominent manufacturing company offering modular enclosure solutions such as low-voltage enclosures, terminal boxes, fully welded boxes, and custom enclosures.

Several modules of Odoo ERP were customized and implemented, including CRM, Accounting, Sales, Inventory, and Manufacturing.

Custom modules were configured to handle packing list automation and import duty auto calculation.

  • MRP Planning Engine — To calculate the accurate lead time and determine the best available plant to fulfill the order.
  • Operator Login Module — To enable operators to log in to the system, inspect quality, and book output, which enhances the overall quality of the goods.
  • Job Card Module — To improve efficiency with grouping and splitting of operations, which led to a streamlined workflow.
  • Handling a large inventory of SKUs and Bill of Materials BOMs — 50,000+ SKUs, and 25,000+ BOMs.
  • The MPR Planning Engine was a key feature implemented for the client and helped accurately calculate the lead time for manufacturing. With the lead time for an order determined, the sales team could set the right expectations with the customer. After the client agrees to the lead time, the sales order could be initiated.
  • An algorithm automated the process of suggesting the best plant for manufacturing. This automation reduced coordination time among plants from 7 days to 20 minutes.
  • The MPR Planning Engine also facilitated optimal resource utilization.
  • Streamlined Manufacturing — A data-driven process recommended the best manufacturing plant for a particular order and led to enhanced production planning.
  • Inventory Management — The system enabled real-time tracking and handling of a large inventory of SKUs and BOMs.
