Our client, a leading manufacturer of overhead and jib cranes, is located in Alberta, Canada. They decided to open a B2C eCommerce shop and required a platform with customizable modules and functionality. Navabrind IT Solutions strategically implemented a feature-rich eCommerce solution, including a dynamic Product Details Page (PDP), robust inventory management module, an integrated CRM and Sales backend, and a user-friendly Magento frontend, ensuring a smooth and efficient customer experience.

Our primary challenge was to help the client choose the right eCommerce platform while incorporating customized features tailored to the client’s needs. With offline operations managed manually, including product data handling and order history tracking, transitioning to an automated online Purchase Order system was a critical requirement. The client’s minimal online presence and reliance on Excel for product data entry led to inefficiencies, making it essential to streamline processes, accelerate data management, and fully digitize their operations.

We implemented extensive frontend customizations, allowing the client to make modifications effortlessly from the backend without requiring developer expertise. This no-code approach enabled complete control over operations, designs, and configurations, enhancing flexibility and efficiency.

  • Shop by Categories: Products can now be created, modified, and shuffled directly from the frontend, eliminating dependency on developers.
  • Product Listing Page (PLP): Enhanced with filters, sorting options, grid/list views, product comparison, and wishlist features to improve navigation and user experience.
  • Intelligent Search & Filters: Tailored specifically for industrial components, ensuring customers see only relevant products based on multiple attributes.
  • Dynamic Stock & Lead Time Display: Inventory availability is updated in real time, and lead times are dynamically calculated, providing customers with accurate delivery estimates—enhancing customer trust and retention.

Optimized Product Details & Checkout Process

  • Product Details Page (PDP): Fully customized with pricing, product comparisons, reviews, PDF attachments, images, and wishlist integration.
  • Review & Order Checkout Page: Implemented dynamic review calculations based on customer ratings and feedback, fostering transparency. The checkout process was enriched with custom delivery address fields, order summaries, tax calculations, and rule-based shipping.
  • Rules-Based Shipping: Automated shipping charges—orders below $300 incur delivery fees, while those above qualify for free shipping.
  • Integrated Payment Gateway: PayPal integration ensures a secure payment experience.
